Her name is Terri

She’s average height

But there isn’t anything

Average about this one

She’s a college girl

All proper and petite

My boys say she cant handle

Someone from the streets

I should leave her alone

Let her flourish

But I’m selfish

I know what I could do for her

Pay her bills, protect her

Show her a real man doesn’t need

Some silly college degree

I don’t kill people

I have others handle that

I don’t touch drugs

I have others do that

I’m simply the brains

The mastermind

The boss

So, I’m not that bad

Potentially, I could be good

for her, at least

When I open my car door

I’m shocked she hops in

Doubt never crosses her eyes

She’ll be Bonnie, and I’ll be Clyde

I realize I’ve played a lot of girls,

But they had nothing going for themselves

Terri, she’s smart

She has a hustle motivation

She’ll be the perfect ride or die

I think I’ve fallen in love for the first time
