I found myself deep east, in troubling streets

I felt eyes boring into me

Full beard

Tattooed skin

He kept guns around

One perched on his side

Two in the car

Five in the house

He broke hearts

The biggest heartbreaker in these parts

Fuck you

Was largely scratched into his black cadillac

Nail marks

Etched into the skin of his shoulders

Tired eyes

Conflicting with that cocky grin

And here he was

Full attention centered on me

Sending goosebumps across my flesh

He reeked of danger and adventure

I ignored the voices of my friends

Telling me “don’t fall into his trap”

He opened his car door

Ushering me in

He threw his guns to the back seat

And I slid into the cool leather

Vibrations from heavy bass

In his music massaged me

As he placed his right hand on my thigh

I realized, I initiated my doom

As the newest Bonnie to Clyde.
